i was looking for a video camera and I was between the Flip HD and the Kodak zi8. I decided to go for the zi8. I got it yesterday and in summary: it is a piece of junk. It is my first return trough Amazon after years of purchasing all kinds of stuff online. The camera freezes all the time, the power button doesn't work 90% of the time, so the only way to turn this camera was by removing the battery. I could not download videos into my PC. I contacted Kodak customer service, i installed the software upgrades and the camera still freezed all the time. I even bought a new Kodak SD memory card thinking this could have been the problem, and nothing got solved. Kodak customer service suggested that I got the camera exchanged.
